Tear the Dragon Girl (竜人のティア, Ryūto no Tia) is the fourth episode of the Unlimited Fafnir anime series. It premiered on January 29, 2015.

Synopsis[]

During a health evaluation test, Yuu is introduced to Midgard's principal, Charlotte B. Lord, and her assistant, Mica Stuart. Charlotte explains that the reason for the evaluation is to check the students' dragon marks, informing Yuu that 'Red' Basilisk has started moving out of the Sahara Desert in search of a mate. She then invites Yuu to join her in peeking at the female students, only to be restrained by Mica.

In the school assembly, Mitsuki introduces two new Ds, Honoka Tachikawa and Tear Lightning, with Tear being Basilisk's target. When Mitsuki attempts to reassure everyone that Tear is human despite her horns, Tear declares that she is a Dragon and lashes out with her powers. However, she calms down upon seeing Yuu, declaring that he is her husband. After that incident, Yuu explains to Mitsuki and Haruka how he saved Tear during a military operation some time ago, which was how Tear recognized him. As such, Yuu is tasked to look after Tear and teach her the rules of Midgard. However, Tear's behavior and firm belief that she's a Dragon make things difficult. Eventually, Yuu convinces her to open up to her classmates and she starts becoming more social. However, when Lisa attempts to teach Tear how to form a Fictional Armament, Tear's deeply-rooted belief that she is a Dragon causes her to encase herself in a giant dragon-shaped Fictional Armament, which goes berserk and starts rampaging.
