'White' Leviathan I is the third chapter of the Unlimited Fafnir manga series. It was published in the first manga volume.

Synopsis

Continuing from the previous chapter, Major Loki asks of Yuu to act as an assassin and kill any D whose dragon mark has changed color in order to prevent an increase in Dragons. When Yuu asks him if this is an order, Loki states that it's merely a request, but subtly threatens him that if he doesn't cooperate, he'll have to resort to less efficient solutions with a high probability of collateral damage.

Shortly afterwards, Yuu is called to the beach by Iris, who asks him why she helped her. Yuu responds that he did so because she reminded him of the past Mitsuki a lot. Although Iris is disappointed, she attempts to ask him to become his friend, but is interrupted by an alert that announces 'White' Leviathan's approach.

The next day, Mitsuki adresses the student body, announcing that Leviathan had approached Midgard's security zone and urging any girl whose dragon mark had changed color to step forward, declaring her intent to protect her. After the speech, Yuu approaches Iris and asks her to show him her dragon mark, confirming his fears that she is targeted by Leviathan. Upon hearing Iris' fear of turning into a Dragon and harming everyone, Yuu promises to kill her himself if it comes down to it. After that, Iris reports her condition to Mitsuki, who promises to protect her.
